Account Access

What We Do

The first pillar of the Youth Connections Collaboriative (YCC) of Georgia is account accesss. Account access is a critical step in establishing a banking relationship as well as receiving timely payments and benefits, including employment salary and government payments via direct deposit. A quality banking relationship encourages our youth to grow and leverage additional retail services (i.e., certificate of deposit).

YCC envisions a Georgia where every young person has the necessary tools and resources to build a prosperous future for themselves and contribute positively to their communities. Encouraging the use of affordable and sustainable deposit accounts cultivates a robust ecosystem of informed youth.

Our vision and mission statement outline the purpose of empowering and uplifting low-to moderate-income youth in Georgia through one of our key pillars,  Account Access.

The YCC helps to connect youth (age 15 to 24) to no-cost, low-cost checking and savings accounts.

Committee members aim to provide access to the financial mainstream and ensure a safe, secure ecosystem where youth can thrive.
